Carlos Alberto Bronzatto is Executive Director at WAIPA, where he consults governments in promoting investment, as well as being responsible for WAIPA conferences, educational programs and other initiatives.

In 1998, Mr Bronzatto became a foreign partner at Chadbourne & Parke, a major New York law firm. He then went to work at Shearman & Sterling, one of the world’s Top 10 law firms, where he worked in corporate finance, specializing in Latin America.

Prior to this, he worked at the investment bank Banco Multiplic (Sao Paulo branch), focusing on structuring deals for Brazilian companies in the fields of trade finance and corporate finance.
Mr Bronzatto began his career at Demarest & Almeida – Brazil’s second largest international law firm. He participated in organizing M&A deals, privatizations and Eurobond issues in Brazil, as well as abroad.

He graduated from State University of Rio Grande do Sul with a degree in jurisprudence, and also holds a law degree from Fordham University in New York.
