Creative Sparkled ICCIE
The on-going 6th ICCIE (China International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo) scheduled 9 to 13 of November 2011, is sure a place to witness originality and creativeness. From its 13 session of themed creative activities to exhibitions, from the main exhibition to special session exhibitions, from the intangible cultural heritage exhibited at different localities to “animated” creative products, everywhere we see is occupied with creativeness.
Young college students are the main body of creative activities. Activities that are designed to stimulate the creativeness of the youth is greater in number and more extensive than previous editions. Types of creative activities fall into creative products exhibitions, creative bazaars, creative festivals, original music contest and expos. Creative works are by students from China’s capital city of Beijing and around the globe, including Hong Kong and Macao. Those creative works cover such a wide range of area as architectural design, arts and handicrafts, graphic design, industrial design, apparel, environment art, photography and animation.
On-site experience and interaction with the creative activities features the whole course of event. There’s more interaction between inside the venue and outside, more interaction on-line and off-line, more opportunity of professional exchange with visitors’ experience. Visitors try their creativeness on graffiti walls, with card paper of all colors, scissors and double-faced glues; they street dance, perform their own music and COSPLAY; they create their own statue with help from professionals; they DIY video and animated works; they experience 3D film shooting and conversion of 2D to 3D……
