On 28 July 2011, CCPIT Beijing organized the 2011 Beijing Int'l Friendly Chamber of Commerce Preparatory Meeting. Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, foreign affairs office, overseas Chinese office, investment promotion bureau, Zhongguancun Management Committee, Xicheng District government, CBD Management Committee and Yizhuang Development Zone were present at the meeting. CCPIT Vice chairman NI Yuegang and deputy inspector LI Luxia attended the meeting.

LI Luxia elaborated on the overall plan of meeting from introduction, schedule, design of activities to division of work. The briefing was well received by the participants who thought that the work plan for the meeting was detailed, informative and rationally arranged. The convening of the meeting will uplift Beijing's international influence and promote exchange and cooperation between chambers of commerce. CBD and Zhongguancun expressed the hope to integrate their activities with this meeting. Overseas Chinese Affairs Office said that they would try their best to help invite overseas chambers of commerce.

NI Yuegang expressed the hope that all parties involved unite and work together for the organization and preparation of the meeting and make the event a success.
