CCPIT Beijing Delegation Rounds off the Visit to Finland and Denmark

At the invitation of the Danish Cultural Institute and Brand Balance, the CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Deputy Chairman CHU Xiangyin, paid a visit to Denmark and Finland from June 19~27, 2012, to talk with related cultural institutes and cultural & creative enterprises, to publicize the ICCIE, and to deeply discuss about bilateral cooperation issues.

Mr. CHU introduced the development status of the ICCIE, especially the 7th ICCIE which will take place in November. He expressed that the ICCIE is an important platform to make exchanges between China and other countries, has earned high attention from the society, especially the business circle, and contributed a lot to the Beijing’s opening-up and the development of cultural & creative industries since its founding. He hoped Finish and Danish cultural institutes and enterprises to attend the ICCIE and develop themselves in China via this platform.

President Annamari Lammassari of Brand Balance was interested in the ICCIE and hoped to transfer the ideas of Finish design circles to China via the platform. Mr. Anderson, in charge of the Danish Cultural Institute, stated that the ICCIE was a good cultural and exchange platform, willing to attend the 7th ICCIE, and hoped to build a long-term cooperative relationship with the ICCIE through the Danish Cultural Institute Beijing Office to introduce the Danish cultural and creative ideas into China so that more and more Chinese can know about the Danish culture. He also said that a Sino-Denmark cultural cooperation and promotion center will be set up to carry out various forms of mutual visits to enhance the communications and exchanges between two countries in cultural and creative industry.

During the visit, the delegation also respectively visited the Danish Art Center and Hammeenlinna Art Museum, and inspected the development status of local cultural and creative industry. This visit and business exchange activities helped build the cooperative relationship between CCPIT Beijing and Finish and Danish cultural institutions, publicize the ICCIE, and open up a new cooperative channel for the overseas development of Beijing’s cultural and creative industry.
