Deputy Chairman LIU Yang Meets with Standing Chairman of Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce

On the morning of April 9, Deputy Chairman LIU Yang met with Mr. Álvaro Bajester, Standing Chairman of Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and discussed about deep cooperation between two sides.

Mr. LIU briefly introduced the basic situation and business scope of the CCPIT Beijing, mainly introduced the large-scale brand activities like CHITEC, ICCIE and Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce, all of which are organized by the CCPIT Beijing, and sincerely invited the Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce to attend the activities. The CCPIT Beijing signed the friendly cooperative agreement with the Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce on Mar. 21 2007, always keeps frequent pragmatic communications to promote the mutual cooperation, seek business opportunities for member enterprises, and mutually drive the economic and trade communications between Beijing and Bogota.

Mr. Bajester pointed out that the Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce will set up Beijing Office, which will facilitate the economic and trade activities between Colombia and Beijing, and communications and cooperation between two chambers. He also mainly introduced the some Colombian investment projects, hoped to cooperate with related enterprise in some fields in Beijing, learn urban road construction, public facilities from Beijing, and to push forward the communications and cooperation among business people in Colombia and Beijing.

Mr. LIU stated that the CCPIT Beijing would like to help the founding of Beijing Office of Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and afterwards, further strengthened the friendly exchanges to contribute to economic and trading growth in Beijing.
