Xinjiang: Derivatives of Museum Art Will Make a Debut in the Cultural & Creative Industry Expo

In the main venue of the current Cultural & Creative Industry Expo, Xinjiang delegate will focus on inheriting and innovative cultural products in three fields as Xinjiang ethnic culture handicraft, derivatives of art and animation design under the theme of “Splendid Pearl on the Silk Road”, during which the derivatives of museum art will make its debut in the Cultural & Creative Industry Expo.
Xinjiang Delegate officially participates in Beijing Cultural & Creative Industry Expo for the second time and participates in the exhibition mainly with its autonomous prefecture and cities for the first time. Totally, more than thirty enterprises from five prefectures and two counties and cities will present in the Expo, including such autonomous prefectures and cities as Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Turpan Prefecture, Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Changji, Urumqi City, Karamay City, Yiwu County of Hami Prefecture and Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County in Kashi Prefecture. The exhibition will not only cover traditional Xinjiang ethnic culture handicrafts, exquisite Hetian Jade accessories, rare Gobi stones and souvenirs, but also cover Xinjiang derivatives of painting art and Xinjiang derivatives of Qiuci (an ancient state) art integrated with art and practice as well as animation derivative products originated from the heroic epic animation drama Boy Hero-Jangar and other derivative animation products based on the intangible cultural heritage–Epic of Jangar. In addition, costume products designed by famous Xinjiang costume designers will also be presented during the exhibition. Pretty and colorful Qiuci mural, famous oil paintings showing the charm of diverse folk cultures in Xinjiang, and art works that usually can only be appreciated in museums or exhibition halls will be presented in the forms of artistic scarves, art pillows, art silk paintings, art umbrellas, etc. We can take these daily necessities as exquisite as artworks home at a price of a few hundred Yuan.
Responsible people of Xinjiang delegate said that Xinjiang divides the derivatives of art that have been brought into two types: one type is printmaking, photography, sculpture and other works which are sold in a signing way by artists and are manufactured in a limited number; while the other type is home products, stationery and other daily necessities which are authorized by artists so as to have a mass production in a way of extending works.
