Beijing Media Gallery Output doubles in 3 years

We reports by Journalist Wang Minghao in Beijing, Beijing Chaoyang District indicated in the 7th ICCIE that, Xijing International Cultural Media Industry Base was officially located in CBD---Dingfuzhuang International Media Gallery, and the first phase has started to construct. After construction, there will be offices, studios, Professional Edition Studios, digital transmission chambers and so on, which could supply internationalized and professional media industrial services, there is possibility for it to become the office location for the News institutions for lots of countries.
 
Chainman of Chaoyang District Cultural Creative industry Development Center, Feng Chunqiu said that, The district government has proposed the construction frame for “Media Gallery” in the end of 2009.And in 2009, the creative industry income has reached 69.43 billion Yuan, while it has increased to 91.08 Billion Yuan in 2010 and 103.65 Billion Yuan in 2011.We expected that our income will over 140 billion Yuan this year which is double to 2009.
The key parks and programs in this “gallery” had increased from 30 in 2009 to 47 this year, meanwhile, Beijing National Advertisement Industry Zone, National Copyright Business Base, National Animation Industry Base, National Music Cultural Industry Base, National Scientific and Cultural Incubator Base etc. have located here successively, which made the entire gallery full of 15,000 cultural enterprises, and more than 200 most powerful and influential media giants and news institutions like People’s Daily, CCTV and so on were included.
In recent 3 years, Chaoyang District Financial Department has invested nearly 500 million Yuan as cultural creative industry special fund to support 121 key programs, which has drive nearly 1 million social investment. “Beijing CBD----Dingfuzhuang International Media Industry Gallery Development Program” was under construction. In the future years, this gallery will supply 7 million square meters space by reconstruction and new construction etc.
