Beijing Has Ranked the First in the Development of Cultural Industry

We reports by Journalist Wang Dongliang that, China Renming University has declared the “Chinese Provinces and Cities Cultural Industry Development Index (2012)” yesterday; Beijing ranked the first again. The Chinese Cultural Consumption Index System which indicates the cultural consumption development situation and trend was also declared yesterday.
“Chinese Provinces and Cities Cultural Industry Development Index” included three index systems; they are Productivity Index which indicates Element Input and Resource Endowment, and Influence Index which indicates the Output Evaluation of Economic Benefits and Social Benefits, and the Driving Force Index that indicates the Market Environment and Innovative Ability.
Professor Peng Yi, the Execute Chainman of China Renming University's Cultural Industry Study Academy, introduced that, within the 3 index systems, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin were ranked the first in Production Index, Influence Index and Driving Force Index respectively, while Beijing has been ranked the first in Composite Index by the score of 79.8.
Based on the introduction, “Chinese Provinces and Cities Cultural Industry Development Index systems” is consisted of 46 indexes. Among them, 34 Quantitative indexes came from the disclosed almanac documents, academic literatures and government data.12 qualitative indexes came from the survey with responsible persons in 68,000 eEnterprise and common people which took 5 months.
