Now let’s focus on Beijing Culture Expo, the 8th Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo, which will be closed today. The Culture Expo has gained popularity among a large number of people by flexible adopting culture and creative products designed with digital technology and presenting interaction of traditional cultural artistry.
“Look at the exhibit behind me, it is called spherical scientific display system which is made from carbon fiber with diameter approximately 1.74m. When it is working, it splices images on the sphere without seam by four projectors around in some proportion. This small sphere presents miniature of a big planet. We will know the complex environmental change course of ocean temperature, atmospheric storm, etc.”
Here, we can see not only devices with which we can look down at the earth like astronauts, but also 3-D film providing preview of Chang'e 3 in dark environment.
Audience: “Chang’e 1 and 2 used to only orbit around the moon. Differently, Chang’e 3 would land on the surface of the moon. The concluding sentence from the film is that lunar exploration is to be kicked off in December 2013, which provides the audience with strong 3-D impression and immersive feeling.”
Look at these excellent works, which are collected and selected from the public by China Space News. Images of them have travelled in the space along with the Shenzhou-X spacecraft.
Hou Xiaoya, staff of Chaoyang Stadium of the Culture Expo, : “Through digital processing, all these works are stored in a small art chip which successfully returned the earth in the end of June after 15-day carrier flying.”
The modern science is so amazing. Exquisite traditional workmanship presentation and interaction display beauty of more Chinese traditional culture. Take these cloisonné crafts for example, all of which are particularly designed.
Mi Zhenxiong, China craft artist: “For instance this one, with chrysanthemum on the top and quail at the bottom, it is called live and work in peace and contentment in the Chinese culture.”
Look at this interactive item of paper culture presentation, which has attracted a number of parents and their kinds.
