On 8 November, at the main venue of 2011 China 3D Technology and Creative Fair, the Chaoyang Planning Museum T Space, rose a huge bulgy “tortoise shell.” And this tortoise shell was nothing but a third generation film concept experience hut created by Mr. SUN Lijun, dean of Animation School of Beijing Film Academy and director of “Legend of a Rabbit” animation film.
The third generation film is also called the third generation film interactive multi-media and is mainly used for audio video entertainment, featuring in gaming, electronic field but with film show as the main target. Films can be shot with different versions when necessary at certain points and let the audience have the option of how the plot develops.
According to reports, this third generation film experience hut is a hybrid product of gaming interaction and film-watching. To realize what is talked about, a main frame and a control handle are needed. The main frame is for play of the film and reception of signals from the control handle while the handle is for plot selection. The audience may involve directly with the development of plot of a film and experience “play a film” instead of merely watching one.
