Rolf-Peter Hoenen，President of German Insurance Association (GDV)

From 1975 until 1980, Rolf-Peter worked for the Federal Insurance Commission (formerly called BAV, now Federal Financial Supervisory Authority [BaFin]).

He then went on to the Ministry of Finance until 1981. For the next seven years, Mr Hoenen was a member of the board of Gothaer Insurance, then in 1988 he became a member of the board of HUK-Coburg Insurance group. Since 1991, he has been a speaker for the members of the board of HUK-Coburg, responsible for the strategic planning and coordination of group strategy, foreign relations, group revision, public relations, law affairs, and business area claim/accident insurance.

Mr Hoenen is also a member of the Steering Committee GDV; vice-president of CEA;
