独立电力生产商协会（IPPF）秘书长莱金

    莱金先生于2000年12月被独立电力生产商协会(IPPF)执行委员会任命为该协会的秘书长。此后，他一直服务于独立电力生产商协会(IPPF)并领导该协会达八年之久。

莱金先生除担任IPPF秘书长一职外，还担任亚洲电力与水资源顾问公司 (APWC)的执行董事和代理董事长。该公司是一家与IPPF关系密切的非政府机构。此外，他曾担任香港美国商会能源委员会的副主席达八年之久，负责该委员会的重要事项和政策事务。

Mr. Joel Laykin was appointed Secretary General by the governing Executive Committee of the IPPF in December of 2000 and continues to serve the organization and by extension the industry, guiding the IPPF into its “eighth” year of operation.

In addition to his IPPF responsibilities, Laykin also serves as Executive Director and Acting Chair of the APWC (Asia Power Water Council Ltd), a “cousin” NGO to the IPPF.  For eight years, he served as Vice Chairman of Energy Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong where he chaired the influential Issues and Policies task force.

The IPPF (Independent Power Producers Forum) is a non-profit industry support organization mandated by its members to work toward best practices in the Power Generation industry.  Our geographic focus includes all developing nations across the Asia / Pacific region as well as the more developed economies of North East Asia.  

The IPPF interacts with like-minded international bodies and institutions, supports and works with appropriate educational institutions and leading academics. The IPPF drives the development of industry guidelines, white papers, position statements and appropriate policy research.  While our focus is on Asia, we maintain growing relationships with multi-laterals and industry decision-makers in North America and Europe.

The membership spread covers all key entities and sectors relating to power generation: Gas, Coal, Oil, LNG, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Security, Equipment, Alternative and Sustainable Technologies, etc.
