宫胁昭（Akira MIYAWAKI）

日本横滨国立大学教授，日本国际生态学研究中心所长，前“国际生态学会”会长，日本国际生态学会研究中心主任宫胁,著名植被生态学和环境保护学家，长期从事植被生态学研究，建立了一种在人类干扰地区快速恢复稳定自然植被的方法。此法在许多国家，尤其是日本、巴西及东南亚诸国，应用较广，这种快速恢复自然植被的方法被国际上的同行称为宫胁法（Miyawaki' s method）。

宫胁昭先生将在本届科博会中国生物多样性保护与利用国际论坛发表演讲。

Miyawaki is the professor of Yokohama National University,director of Japan International Research Center for Ecology, former President of "International Ecological Society", director of Japan International Research Center of Ecological Society, well-known scientist of vegetation ecology and environmental, engaged in vegetation ecological studies, the establishment of a rapid recovery methods of natural vegetation in the areas of human disturbance. The method in many countries, especially Japan, Brazil and Southeast Asia, has a broader application, this method of rapid recovery of natural vegetation has been internationally peer-called Miyawaki 's method.

Mr. Akira Miyawaki will make speech at the 7th International Forum on Science and Technology in China Biodiversity Conservation and Utilization.

Yokohama National University is a Japan National University located in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, it is a very famous comprehensive university in the Kanto region and Japan. Yokohama National University was established in 1949,under the National School Establishment Law.
